Dr. Steve Haws

Dr. Steve Haws graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree and received a research scholarship to the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. During his dental school years he presented research in Puerto Rico, Orlando, San Francisco, and Kansas City. During his senior year he was awarded the Dean's Leadership Award and Research Achievement Award.

After earning his D.D.S. degree, Dr. Haws was offered an opportunity to complete and Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Travis Air Force Base in Northern California. Following this year-long residency he served for two more years with the U.S. Air Force and received the prestigious General Sachsel Outstanding Resident Award.

Dr. Haws' patients consistently comment on his empathy and ability to listen. He has a special interest and talent in the field of cosmetic dentistry and has attended numerous continuing education seminars to expand his skills. Dr. Haws has an artist's eye not only for dental aesthetics, but also in his personal hobby of photography.

Dr. Haws was born and raised in Star Valley Wyoming and has always enjoyed life in the great outdoors of the western United States. He and his wife, Nikki are dedicated and busy parents to 5 girls and 2 boys. In his spare time Dr. Haws volunteers as a Boy Scout leader and enjoys hiking, running, and studying history.

Dr. Lyle Beck

Dr. Beck received his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University. He graduated with honors from The University of Iowa with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He received multiple academic and clinical awards and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society.

Following dental school Dr. Beck was chosen for a coveted position at the University of Washington in their General Practice Residency program with an emphasis on hospital dentistry. During his residency Dr. Beck saw patients at the Seattle Veterans Hospital, Harborview, and Children's Hospital.

Dr. Beck enjoys the challenge and diversity of general dentistry. Whether he's working on a simple filling or a complex full mouth restoration, he approaches each procedure with the same degree of care and attention to detail. Dr. Beck's artistic talents are evident not only in his dental work, but also in the meticulous woodworking projects he creates in his spare time.

Dr. Beck was born and raised in Idaho and followed in the footsteps of his father, an oral surgeon. He volunteers in his community and church and serves with the Boy Scouts of America. He met his wife, Eileen in college and they have four children. They've felt privileged to call Kitsap County their home since 1999.
