Cosmetic dentistry may utilize a variety of treatments in an effort to repair and/or improve your smile. Even dental fillings can be utilized in cosmetic dentistry with the advent of tooth colored materials in place of the historical silver color. Other treatments may include:
- Dental Veneers: Dental veneers are also referred to as porcelain veneers and dental laminates. Dental veneers can be made out of several different materials but are essentially custom made shells or caps that are placed on top of, or in front of your natural tooth to improve the presentation of the tooth. Dental veneers can be used to change the size, shape, color and constitution of the patient's teeth.
- Dental Implants: Dental implants are an artificial tooth replacement that can be utilized in place of other treatments such as dentures, bridges and others to remedy tooth loss. We will work with you to help determine if dental implants are right for you.
- Porcelain Crowns: Technology now allows for the majority of crowns to be made with porcelain or other ceramics ensuring that your crowns look completely natural. Porcelain crowns can be used when a tooth has been broken down from decay or other reasons. The crown will help rebuild the tooth in a manner that is totally natural and complimentary to your smile.
- Teeth Whitening: Having beautiful white teeth is a key component in improving your smile. With many different options to choose from, no one should let tooth discoloration and staining hide their brilliant, youthful smile. We will work with you to determine the best course of teeth whitening treatment based on your needs.
